Dr. Vesna Lazić was born on 3rd April 1981. She obtained her M.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, Serbia in 2005. She received his Ph.D. from the University of Belgrade in Chemistry, the study of antimicrobial efficiency of textile materials modified with silver nanoparticles.
She is currently a Principal Research Fellow at the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia. She works on the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles and hybrid nanomaterials, antimicrobial ability, and toxicity of nanomaterials. She is also interested in the photocatalysis of hybrid nanomaterial, as well as films incorporated with nanoparticles.
