Dušan Sredojević

Dr. Dušan Sredojević was born on 24^th December 1979. He obtained his M.Sc. in Theoretical Chemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, Serbia 2009. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Belgrade in Theoretical Chemistry, studying stacking interactions between phenyl and chelate rings of square-planar transition metal complexes. He is currently a Senior Research Associate at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia. He performs DFT calculations on various molecular (cluster) and periodic systems to elucidate their electronic and optical properties. He is also interested in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis including 2D materials, carbon-based quantum dots and different molecular catalysts. He is the co-author of 48 publications on the SCI list with more than 1000 citations and an h-index of 19 (Source: https://www.scopus.com/, Author ID: 11940244000).
